TAYLOR D. ADAMS

storyteller + filmmaker

I was a six-year old child actor…

Non-SAG or any union, I was just a little kid in a Godzilla costume terrorizing a tiny Lego town. My older cousin taped the whole thing on his VHS camcorder. He wrote the end credits on white note paper and read them aloud in a cheesy movie-trailer-guy voice as the camera rolled, and you could hear me in the background laughing uncontrollably. I was having the time of my life. This was my introduction to filmmaking.

From then, I threw myself into performance. I put on skits for my family, sang in a choir, danced for audiences, acted in plays, played music, wrote silly stories - art was how I expressed myself.

Years later, I was finally gifted my own camcorder and could not put it down. I documented my entire trip to Alaska with my dad, I made slice of life, Jackass-style videos with my neighbor and used every opportunity I could to make a video instead of writing a paper for school. Filmmaking became my calling, a way to express my thoughts and emotions that was fun, satisfying and true to myself. I wouldn’t want to be doing anything else.

i’m available for work, consultations, speaking engagements or just to grab a coffee!
